| happy new year
“This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”- Isaiah 43:16, 18-19

| Today was so happy!
Nothing to complain about! Lots of food!! Lots of GOOD food!!!! Potluck at work.
The sun came out. It was warm. The snow was gone! The rain too, after lunch.
Had a fun time at the youth party tonight. Kristen McMillan made me laugh until my side hurt. Oh wait.... I think my side hurts because my nephew Stephen wrestled with me last Saturday and put me in some kind of squeeze hold and maybe broke a rib?
Learning to grow old gracefully......that's me!
Happy happy happy!
Two people on AIM have away messages that say they are cleaning their room. Is it National Clean Your Room Day? I missed the memo. Too bad. Maybe next year.
Hopefully this blog balances out the last one. Life's not all roses, nor is it all horse dung. There's a little of both. They actually complement each other.....without the fertilizer from the horse, the rose would not grow as big nor as pretty. In order to more enjoy the fragrance of the rose, one must experience the stench of the poop.
Hahahahahahahahaaaa.......pretty deep, eh? In more ways than one......lol......
Toodles!

| My Oh My!
It's been a while, hasn't it?
Does anybody use Xanga anymore? MySpace still annoys me. There are comments, bulletins, blogs, picture comments, and messages. Five ways to communicate. Maybe more. Who knows?
Nobody reads MySpace blogs (which is why I like Xanga better - the blog is what everything is centered around and what I enjoy doing most online and reading the most too); people read fewer and fewer bulletins, because 99% of them are stupid surveys or other wastes of time; people forget to check their inbox for messages (Actually, there are so many places to check for things on myspace that it has to remind you when something new comes in: New Messages! New Comments! New Picture Comments! New Threats From the Neighbor Regarding Your Noisy Dog!); and comments can become a twisted, confusing plot line that is hard to follow.
Having said that, the commenting is a rather nice way to send someone something short and sweet. Although when I try to capitalize and use proper line spacing and all that, it all is for naught, because whatever I type in is subject to the person's MySpace site preferences, which can be really annoying sometimes (and which they have no control over). Maybe I don't WANT all my text to be ALL CAPS. or maybe i don't want it to be all lower case either. AGGHH.
I guess I miss the original idea of pleonast, where I started out, where you can write whatever you want, and then see what others have to say about what you wrote. (And you can see it all in one place, without having to click on a "Comments" link.)
Back to work. I'm done complaining.

| You all should know by now that September 19th is International Talk Like A Pirate Day.
AAARRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

| I'm installing the latest Ubuntu linux distribution on my other computer. If it works out OK, I may use that one for my main computer. I wonder if Audigy2 EZ is supported? Most of the other Audigy cards are.....
For those of you living in an alternate reality who didn't understand that, here's something completely different:
